How Does Producer Access Work?
When an agent is ready to submit a quote, they will be taken through an easy step-by-step process where they will provide applicant details, exposure and policy information, answers to general questions, answers to any required supplemental questions, and be able to upload supporting documentation. From there, agents may view pricing by carrier and submit the quote to an underwriter for review.
And while all of that information can be a lot to track down at once, Producer Access has provided agents the ability to stop mid-submission, save the information that has been completed, and to come back at a later point to continue right where they left off.
New Value to Underwriters
In addition to creating an agent-oriented tool that cuts down on time and cost to submit new business, Producer Access has also brought new value to the underwriter. With critical page and field validation for the entire process, underwriters will spend less time reviewing incomplete or incorrect submissions. Producer Access standardizes the information that is coming across by ensuring all required pieces be completed before the quote can be submitted for review.
Program administrators will now have the ability to setup custom question groups that are presented during the supplemental application step based on the responses already provided by the agent. These custom supplemental questions can help fill in gaps in information before a submission ever gets to an underwriter.
Program administrators can also set up submission rules to dictate if a new submission must be sent to an underwriter for review or if coverage is denied. These rules can be based on any of the exposure or policy information as well as any of the custom supplemental application creating a wide variety of ways to determine eligibility.
